Yes, I do love the drums, and I have a great love for all drummers. But there is one drummer I heard on bassist John Patitucci’s album ‘On The Corner’, a drummer by the name of Vinnie Colaiuta.

Vinnie played a monstrous drum fill at the beginning of a song, which I just had to rewind a hundred times the first time I heard it.

Thanks to my own drummer and husband, Nic, who is a friend of another great musician, bassist Jimmy Haslip, and thanks to Giant Sheep Music, one of my greatest dreams has now come true!

Conquer The World is a song with a lot of attitude in the music, but with humble lyrics. It’s about letting your guard down and showing the true you.
