ABOUT THIS TRACK

I once had the honor of singing backing vocals with a gospel choir at one of Stevie Wonder’s shows back in 2009.

The experience inspired me a lot.

After a very long and hot summer day, I arrived back home early in the morning, totally exhausted and ready to get some sleep. But the first thing I did, was to sit down by the piano, grab some paper and a pen, and this song just burst out of my head, all at once.

I believe that Stevie is a great influence on all musicians, and as long as we’re able to express ourselves through art and dare to open up other people’s hearts by opening our own, writing tributes to our idols is essential, and a beautiful way to show our gratitude and respect.

'All Through You' is about encountering someone you’ve admired for many years, and actually sitting right next to him, and having a conversation about God and music.

It seems that I always end up in those depths. But then again, music goes way deeper than words…
